Portraiture was my first love. I began drawing as a child and studied art while in college. It was not until much later in life, however, that I took up painting with oils and acrylics during an art class. At that point, I fell in love with the canvas.
Professionally, I work as a freelance editor. I recently completed a master’s degree in theology, with a focus on ethics and animals. Thus animals are subjects not only of aesthetic interest to me (as my galleries show), but creatures with whom I feel a deep spiritual connection.
